This unique slim PATA-ZIF SSD "E" series is incorporated with subordinate 8MB cache buffer greatly enhancing write-to performance. Available in 8GB - 64GB in SLC package and 128GB in MLC package. Providing high-speed data transfer and reliability, it utilizes a 40-pin ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) IDE connector interface, the advanced on-chip 18 bit BCH-ECC ensures maximum data integrity without any additional system software or user interaction, combined with global wear leveling technology it effectively extends the life expectancy of SSD drives 2x more than standard PATA HDD*. This product is a perfect fit for designs that have IDE PATA / ZIF interface, with no design changes required to accommodate new SSD technology. Interested customers will be from embedded applications and military applications who for generations have been using PATA HDD. Non-moving parts means that SSD provides big savings on TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).
