What is ADD2?
ADD2 cards use the PCI Express x16 port to accept Serial Digital Video Out (SDVO) signals from the graphics controller hub. They provide a convenient, low-cost method for connecting either one or two DVI digital displays to the graphics controller of any Intel 915G, 945G or G965 based motherboard. (Other systems are being tested). When this card is installed, the user can still have full access to the VGA connector for connecting a standard VGA monitor. Both of these displays can also be used simultaneously.
Not only does the Pegasus ADD2 card series support single DVI, but we also offer a dual-DVI option too whereby 2 independent DVI output lines are available for dual digital monitor support. For example, our Pegasus dual-DVI card allows simultaneous DVI signals to be sent to 2 independent displays. |
