IT Helpdesk Support Engineer
Wintec Industries is a fast growing global technology leader with over 300 hundred employees. We are looking for a motivated IT Helpdesk Support Engineer, with more than one year of experience in the industry, possessing the following skill sets:
Troubleshooting and repairing hardware problems
Using, troubleshooting, and repairing of Windows 2000/XP Operating System
Understanding of the Windows registry and boot up process
Ability to clean spyware, adware, and virus from infected systems.
Advanced usage of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Basic experience in troubleshooting and repairing network related problems
Administration and maintenance of a PBS
Administration and maintenance of Active Directory and Exchange server
Basic understanding of RAID levels, databases, DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMB/CIFS, HTTP, VPN, IP, and Ethernet.
Any experience with Cisco routers, Catalyst switches, and PIX is a plus.
Any experience with RedHat Linux, Debian, Ubuntu, or FreeBSD is a plus.
The job responsibilities will include: closely supporting senior network engineers, helping to administer servers and workstations, and acting as the first line of support for troubleshooting employee workstations.
We are looking for a person with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of professional experience. The person must enjoy working closely with non-technical end-users and must have both patience and interpersonal skills.
