Why does my battery discharge so quickly?
Battery life can discharge rapidly if the user has one or more of the following occurring:
  1. Live Wallpaper
  2. WiFi constantly scanning and engaged
  3. Brightness level set at maximum
  4. Multiple apps running in the background
  5. Streaming and/or playing a video

The user has many configuration options within the device and can make choices to install/run apps that either minimize or maximize battery life from one charging cycle to the next. Conserving battery capacity is a normal part of the end user mobile CE experience through their usage pattern. Leaving a unit connected to the charger constantly (topping off for extended periods) is not recommended; this is a typical reason why laptop batteries have shortened life spans for example. The Clear Tablet’s charging time via wall charger is about 4 to 4 1/2 hours. Charging time via Micro-USB to USB cable is about 6 hours.
