How does the Modem on Hold function work with the USB CX Modem?
In order to use the Modem on Hold feature, you must subscribe to Caller ID and Call Waiting from your phone company. If you have these features, then it is important to download and install the Net Waiting file from the CX Modem Installation disk. Please select the folder, 'NetWaiting_2.5.59' and then select 'setup.exe' to run this setup program. Follow the installation prompts to complete the Net waiting install. A yellow Phone icon should now appear on your desktop. It is important to click on this icon when you are connecting with the USB Modem to enable this feature.
