| Can I run my S Professional CompactFlash card as a fixed disk? |
|
| Yes, when running the S Professional CF card in TRUE IDE mode, by using a CF to IDE adapter or similar method, the S Profesional CF card will automatically identify itself as a fixed disk to the host, which allows Windows to place page files on the drive. Running in any other mode other than TRUE IDE mode, e.g. by using a PCMCIA adapter, will cause the CF to identify as a removeable disk and will not work for creating a Windows bootable disk. |
