Quality Systems & Compliance Manager

Salary range: $110K – $125K DOE
Scope
This role owns the company’s quality management system, ISO / QMS calendar including activities, audit, and process compliance. The position works cross-functionally with functional managers to help ensure adherence to company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Audits & Compliance
- Own ISO 9001 / QMS calendar.
- Managing internal audit execution.
- Prepare audit findings and assist with tracking corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through closure.
- Follow up with functional teams to ensure timely completion of compliance-related action items.
- Own annual compliance self-assessments and customer/supplier compliance requirements, including CDP, RBA, RoHS, REACH, and related regulatory declarations.
- Review operational processes for adherence to SOPs, QSPs, and company procedures, and escalate identified gaps or compliance concerns.
Documentation Control
- Manage document control activities, including document review, revision tracking, approvals, distribution, retention, and archival of controlled documents.
- Ensure controlled documents are current, accurate, and properly maintained within the quality management system.
Continuous Improvement Support
- Support cross-functional continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
- Assist in preparing customer reports and corrective action documentation, including 8D reports, when required.
- Monitor process improvement actions and support implementation follow-up activities.
- Maintain audit records, compliance documentation, and reporting metrics as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in quality, compliance, operations, document control, or process coordination roles.
- Hands on ISO 9001 experience or quality management systems.
- Effective communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on action items.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and recordkeeping abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with operations software.
- Internal auditor training or ISO audit exposure is a plus.
